The Heartfelt Journey of Artisanal Soap Creation
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is cold-pressed soap?
Cold process soap is a traditional method of making soap where oils and fats (like olive and coconut oil) are mixed with an alkali called sodium hydroxide (also known as lye or caustic soda).
The ensuing chemical reaction, called saponification, creates soap. With precise calculations, the finished bar of soap contains no trace of lye, leaving behind only skin-nourishing glycerin.
Why does my skin feel more moisturized with your soap?
Our cold-pressed soaps retain their natural glycerin content, a humectant that helps maintain moisture in the skin. Many commercial soap producers extract this glycerin, leading to a drier feeling after washing. With our soap, the natural glycerin keeps your skin feeling moisturized and hydrated.
Are your soaps suitable for sensitive skin?
Absolutely! Our motivation to create Natrual Better Health stemmed from adverse reactions to the chemicals in commercial soaps. Our soaps are formulated from all-natural ingredients, targeting customers with health or environmental sensitivities.
Do you use artificial colors or fragrances in your soaps?
No, we use natural clay, mica, and essential oils to color and scent our soaps. This ensures that our soaps have mesmerizing fragrances, unique textures, and delightful skin-nourishing capabilities, without any artificial additives.
Why don’t you accept returns?
Due to hygiene concerns and to ensure the integrity of our products, we cannot accept returns. Every customer should receive a brand-new, untouched product for health and safety reasons.
What if my product arrives damaged or doesn’t match the description?
If your product is damaged during shipping or doesn’t match its description, please contact us within [e.g., "7"] days of receipt. After verifying the claim, we will send you a replacement free of charge.
How do natural soaps differ from commercially-produced soaps?
Natural soaps, like ours, often "superfat" their formulations, resulting in un-reacted oils that have conditioning qualities. We retain all the natural glycerin content in our soaps. In contrast, many commercial manufacturers extract glycerin and use chemicals for scenting and preservation.
How do I store my soap to ensure it lasts long?
Keep your soap in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Using a soap dish with proper drainage can also help prolong its life by keeping it dry between uses.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can only be canceled if they haven’t been shipped yet. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order that hasn't been dispatched.
